Escape from the Dark Void

Dark creatures are attracted to the life and energy of all that is good. Be aware of the truly hidden demise of us all.

Don’t trust your senses as you move through the darkness guided only by your beacon of hope.

Passages of light obscures the fabric of space. Fight of the creatures with your light sticks, while rebuilding your space ship to “Escape the Dark Void” in this interactive light installation for 10 participants.

Backstory:

Humans have created the technology to travel faster than light by creating rifts in space and time. However, in the middle of flight the tesseract device that is holding the rift open, breaks down, marooning the team in a place that is neither here nor there; The Dark Void.

The space team is trying to rebuild their engines so they can escape their impending demise. They use light matter sticks to open and see the hidden areas of the Void where they must find the engine parts, while defending the tesseract against Dark matter creatures that are trying to suck the energy from it.

The nature of the glow sticks and the design of the game will make the players look like fireflies from afar. They need to spread out to find objects, but need to swarm together to fight off enemies.
